Prince Abdullah bin Mosaed crowned Qatar with “Gulf Cup 22” Cup

On behalf of The Two Holy Mosques Custodian King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Saoud, His Royal Highness Prince Abdullah bin Mosaed bin Abdul Aziz, General president of Youth welfare honored today (Wednesday) the final match of Arabian Gulf Cup football tournament “Gulf cup 22” between Saudi team and Qatar team at King Fahad international stadium in Riyadh.

Upon the arrival of His Highness, General President of Youth welfare, to the stadium, played the Saudi and Qatari anthem, after that His Highness accompanied with Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Chairman of Qatar football federation, and Ahmed Eid Al Harbi, Chairman of Saudi football federation to peace the both teams players then match started.

And after the end of the match, His Highness Prince Abdullah bin Mosaed crowned Qatar team with the tournament Cup and gold medals after defending Saudi team (2-1), who also received the silver medals, while UAE team received the Bronze medals for finishing the third.

His Highness also crowned UAE player Ali Mabkhout with the top scorer of the tournament with 5 goals, and Qatar player Qasim Burhan with best goal keeper, and Saudi Nawaf Al-Abed for best player in the tournament, while Oman team won the Fair play team.

And after the coronation ceremony, tournament Flag was down with playing the Saudi anthem.

The match and coronation were attended by His Highness Sheikh Jasim bin Hamad Al Thani, the personal representative of High Highness Sheikh Tamem bin Hamad Al Thani, Qatar Prince, and Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani and His Royal Highness Prince Ali bin Al Hussain, Vice President of international football federation.
